When did life become a boxing match? Good grief. I think we’re entering the 12th round with this travel dilemma. Can’t SOMETHING run smoothly or go according to plan, ANY half-baked plan?Where’s the love, life?
As Jill reported, it would appear that there are no available wheelchair accessible RVs in the state of
Back to square one. This is getting a bit ridiculous. In a world such as ours, how can it be that there aren’t more wheelchair accessible vehicles to rent?!? Does the world of rental cars believe that folks who can’t walk, can’t travel? I suppose “accessible” or “universal” design concepts stop at the OXO can opener.
So, we’re still brainstorming, needless to say, but it shows the depths of our desperation to get the family in one state, if not to simply mock the rental agencies and airlines of

All: wheelchair getaways has a franchise in Denver so one way rental may be an option. I am happy to board any dogs at my house or provide housing, shuttle service, meals, etc. I’m not too far from University Hospital and have a very flexible schedule.
